Tuesday night pub run

Five Minis Nuccio & Liz , Andys Norman, Matt, Chris, & Steve & Linda set off on an ongoing sortie to explore the little jewels that we are blessed with in this fine and pleasant land, the great British Country Pub. This mission saw us heading from HQ in a southerly direction through Bracebridge Heath and Waddington ,at this point I have to mention that Nuccio has taken on Larrys mantel for the moment as MR DIRECTION, for some reason his mini had an urge to head for the A46... we managed to calm him down and pursue the scenic route instead. Turning right through the beautiful village of Harmston took us on a lovely bit of road ..perfect for mins ,very enjoyable. Soon we entered the city limits of Aubourn where we found we could see the pub but it was the wrong way up a one way street. Resisting the urge to reverse up it we finally found the correct route for those co-ordinates...where we parked up amongst admiration from the crowds of pub goers. Its a busy little pub ,Black Sheep amongst others on tap and the food looked great. We were joined by Chaz & better half, Richard , and Matt (Knox) with his troublesome grandad (can you leave him at home next time).
A really good fun night , must do it again soon , thanks for the company

Aww. Am so gutted I missed that belter of a run out!!!! Dammit!
Superb mini country - the roads around there were built with minis in mind, bless 'em (not Romans) - and with the most excellent village pubs at Coleby, Norton Disney, Bassingham (2) as well. Bit further on - "George" at Leadenham. Perfect.
Could have tagged along in m'Landy, if only I had known, as mini really unwell at present.

Crikey , you'd have been most welcome , we'll do it again soon no doubt preferably when the weather settles into summer....? we will also update email contacts so everyone is aware. At the moment we are in the process of sorting out who's paid this years subs and who hasn't so some members who have paid aren't getting emails and some non members who are . So we are welcoming pub suggestions and route suggestions with a view to do once a month evening run. Also it depends on what other runs we've got to shows etc .. we don't want to wear em out
